Located adjacent to the M1 motorway (junctions 36, 35A and 35 being less than 1 mile away). Orrmac Coatings Limited boasts a works facility with floor space of approximately 4,200 square metres. The factory operates 10 overhead cranes, servicing 3 bays, with lifting capacity of over 70 tonnes.

Our well-ventilated painting bays are used for the application of single and multi-coat systems.

The flexibility of our work space enables us to construct Job Specific covered and heated areas that may require constantly monitored conditions.

Orrmac Coatings Limited offer a full range of solvent-based and solvent free epoxies as well as polyurethane, alkyd, anti-slip and decking treatments.

Plural feed, heated, airless spray equipment is also used to apply specialised and ultra-high-build coatings.

We have approval to apply coatings in accordance with Norsok M-501 Edition 6 and have two full time inspectors qualified to ICORR Levels II and III.

We also have an ICATS Trainer, and Supervisor amongst our team.

Orrmac Coatings Limited are approved for the application of fire protection systems such as Chartek (International Paints), Firetex (Sherwin Williams Paints) and Jotachar (Jotun Paints).

The company is National Grid approved to CW6 for the application of Fusion Bonded Epoxy to steel pipe work and fittings. We are also Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) approved for the application of Fusion Bonded Epoxy by Fluidised bed method, and Multicomponent Liquid Paint method on Steelwork, pipes, valves and fittings.

We also apply Aluminium and Zinc using either the Thermal Gas Flame Spray method or the Electric Arc Spray technique on heavy fabrication, storage and process vessels, ductwork, chimneys and bridge beams.

We offer on-site teams working throughout the U.K. and abroad and all our operatives are fully trained in accordance with current site legislation.

Our quality system has enabled us to obtain ISO 9001 accreditation.

Our operatives are ICATS trained which allows us to carry out protective coating treatments for most petro-chemical companies, together with Network Rail and the Highways Agency.
